1. What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are an innovative service and product that lengthen and thicken your natural lashes. The Mink or 100% silk eyelashes are delicately glued one by one, about 2mm from your eyelid onto your own natural lashes and then perfectly separated. Once applied, the lash extensions naturally curl up looking longer fuller and sexier, transforming your look for any occasion.
2. Will the application be harmful to my natural lashes?
Extensions do not damage your own natural eyelashes if they are applied correctly. The average cycle of an eyelash is 3 months and then they fall or shed in the same way as the hair on your head. So therefore when extensions are applied 2mm from the eyelid glued to your natural lash, the extension will fall attached to your own lash when it naturally sheds. We all have different hair/lash types and at Lash Junkie we only choose lash lengths that are suitable for your own lash to easily carry, hence maintaining their own strength and health.
3. How long do eyelash extension last?
Eyelash extensions will last the duration of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Everyone’s experience will differ based on your day-to-day activities but a top up is recommended every 3-4 weeks to keep them looking full.
4. Where is Lash Junkie?
I have an eyelash extension home salon in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. With a home salon it means appointments can be flexible to suit you and parking is free!
5. Can you wear mascara with eyelash extensions?
Yes you can wear mascara with them but it has to be water-based mascara. Most mascaras are oil-based and oily products will ruin the lash extensions and make them fall off. A water based mascara can be purchased from Lash Junkie on request.
